After working for years in the largest LGBTQ+ media company in the United States, Marie-Adélina realized something: where was trans and queer joy?

There were plenty of articles about attacks and legislation against our bodies, but where were the stories about those who defied the odds and succeeded? Who helped build a movement in their own backyard? Who continued to provide safe spaces in the midst of chaos?

POLISH is where we began: a platform built on the belief that Black and brown trans and queer voices deserve more than representation. It deserves authorship.
